Thoughts on Christmas

Well well well. If it aint Christmas! Yeah that time of the year is here. Guam Christmas. Christmas in the Islands. "Ching a ling a ling ching ching."
I went to Mike Phillips Christmas party yesterday and had a good time. I think he has that party so that people can meet friends and wish them a Merry Christmas. Because on Guam, friends are like our extended family. We are all in this together and we all want to wish each other a Merry Christmas in this time when everyone is happy. Happy time! But thanks Mike Phillips for having that party. Its been going on for 18 years and running.
So Christmas...I noticed that Christmas doesent really hit you until the week of Christmas. It kind of sneaks up on you. Well at least for me it did. And it doesent really seem liike a big deal. It kind of just feels like Thanksgiving, except with more decorations. Because you meet with both families, eat, drink some wine, enjoy. Except this time you say "Merry Christmas!" instead of Happy Thanksgiving...
k. a Merry Christmas to anyone who happens to read this. I wish everyone on Guam and in the world could have a genuine smile and a genuine laugh on December 25th. Eat some dessert. eat some cake it will make you happy..

Guam Cop Story

Why is it that I always see cops on my drive home after going out to the bar. It never fails. I just saw another cop last night and I ran a yellow light that turned red right before I passed it. The cop probably saw that but didnt pull me over. Yes!

Thoughts on the Militairy Buildup on Guam

In short, I think that school kids in 2050 in Guam will look back at the time we are living in now and learn that this period between 2008-2016 is when the island of Guam changed forever. It changed. Time will tell whether or not that change was a good or bad thing. Fact is, Guam changed. That's my thoughts on this whole thing. And yes it's kind of a big deal. haha. But yea check this video from PBS i watched on the buildup. its got great hd footage of Guam and good interviews with local people we know. I think this was aired nationally. Meaning they showed this to people in the states. Chek it out. You will not regret it.

Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is a professional motivational speaker and has helped Presidents and been in movies, like Jack Blacks Shallow Hal when he gets stuck in the elevator. So anyways the other day I was bored and started watching a few Tony Robbins videos on youtube. haha. I needed some inspiration or something. idk.
People at work were talking about youtube videos and I said you should check out TOny Robbins videos. They said "Who's Tony Robbins?" "Who watches Tony Robbins videos on youtube?"
I responded by saying "That's what crazy people do!" haha. Some of them laughed. Some just look confused. I laughed.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Pacific PPL Manny Pacquiao and BJ Penn VS. The World in a boxing match.

Yes. Okay it's not Breaking News. It's actually not real at all. It is fictional, but since we're on the topic....BJ PENN and MANNY PACQUIAO. Against the world in a boxing match. Did we ever notice that the two top fighters in their respective sports are from the Pacific! Yes. It is true. They are from this region of the planet Earth. And they both have been to Guam and made public appearances to our people. So congratulations to them. Keep it up. They are creating a legacy in our lifetimes. Watch greatness unfold. Maybe you too will be great one day. Maybe. or maybe not. ha. At least we know the Pacific is a good place to live. We got greatness out of here. haha.

Oh yeah it just occured to me that Obama is from the Pacific. ha. He is a product of growing up in Hawaii. Hot dam! Pacific Taking Over The World!

O-Set. Im out.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr never bites his tongue. Appearing on HBO's Joe Buck Live program, he said he doesn't want fans to be surprised when they see what he's going to do to Manny "Pac Man" Pacquiao when the two meet in their much hyped bout. The fight will most likely take place on March 13,2010. To see the full interview with Floyd go to the HBO website.

BJ Penn Fight

Yes Congrats to BJ Penn aka "The Prodigy" on his successful title defense today against Diego Sanchez. who got fucked up. But yeah bottom line is he is from the Islands. From Hilo. Hawaii. So notice that the best fighter in the world at 155 is from this side of the planet. The Islands! Haha. Yeah Joe Rogan the UFC announcer said after BJ won "that is the best lightweight mma fighter of all time." So let's all take a step back and absorb that fact. Peace.

Thoughts On Getting/Having A Job

Do you work? Are you in the work force? Whatever your situation is this is what I got a job for. I need it to add some structure in my life amongst all the recklessness that happens around it. The care free and spontaneous decision making being your own boss young entrpeneur life style can get you lost in it. Yeah this is an overall life health issue. Life is about balance. I heard that some where.
Money. Enter money into the mix. Nobody does shit for free nowadays. Especially nowadays nowadays. haha. k. work is a good thing. im out.

These few songs are Pick Pocket, Roots Music, Hell Fire, and Spliff Mood. Yes. It will be grand and royal. Full band stadium sound. AndKymani I wanna hear 2 songs. "One Time for my warriors" and "Any Bob Marley song". After that I call it a night.

Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods. Call him Cheetah Woods from now on. Matter fact call him Cheetah Lion Woods. Yes.
Well bottom line is that he is not the first or last successful rich man to cheat on his wife nowadays.
The story is done. The new story is have you seen those text messages from Tiger to his mistress? Haha. Hilarious. This shit is entertaining. But I only see it once then I dont read it again. I move on.
So Tiger is the last squeaky clean role model we lost in sports. Kobe is the luckiest man in the world right now. He's off the hook. But yeah Tiger dont care. He got about 9-10 maybe a dozen mistresses. Haha. Tiger is pimpin! We all know pimpin aint easy!

Friday, December 4, 2009

Well, well, well look at the calender it says December. haha

Twilight New Moon

The talk about movie of November. Well, it was all sold out. Haha. the whole night. so I think other movies ticket sales went up. Like LAW ABIDING CITIZEN. Which I watched and was impressed. Good movie. With a twist at the end. However, there were some gruesome scenes which I don't think should be exposed to kids at a young age.

Im organizing my thoughts for a paper I want to write regarding the next generation of kids being exposed to a wide variety of things today, and how it will affect them and the world for that matter 20 years from now.

I mean this generation is growing up on youtube, 1000s of television channels, the internet, movies with incredible special effects...and all I know is I didnt grow up on that. I believe there will be some effect that this exposure will have on the next generation.

Manny Pacquiao

Paquiao destroys Cotto. I watched the fight at my boy's house in a living room with a 50 inch plasma. (Had a ceremonial beer at the start of the fight.) Pacman is possibly the greatest fighter of our time. He has belts in 7 different weight classes which definately makes him one of the greatest fighters ever. I would not want to fight this guy. Shout out to the Phillipine Islands! 3 hr plane ride from Guam.

Wuts really good? Well just wanted to publish my thoughts again. Havent done this in a minute. Right now Im watching the FEDOR/ROGERS fight on CBS...its on in about 10 minutes. So whats on my mind. I spent the day yesterday with the baby Aramiah. That is my god daughter. 2 and a half years old. We went outside to the beach, laughed and played in the sand. I got caught up in some deep thoughts again as I always do while looking at the ocean as the backdrop. However, the foreground brought me back to present reality as I watched the baby shovel up some sand into her bucket then immediately pick up the bucket and pour the sand out. Haha. Little kids are just simply a blessing. It's almost selfish to have them, because they are an easy bailout to make you happy. So then we walked down to a shady part of the beach. She was scared of the water at first, but I showed her how I was having fun touching the water that washed up on the shore. Little by little she touched the water, then ran back to me as another wave washed up on shore. Then I told her I was hungry. Then she said, do you want to eat some sand? Haha. What a comedian. Then we went into the shallow water, she was scared at first, clinging on to me but I pretended to be a boat and she rode on my back laughing. She started to become more comfortable with the water, and started swimming on her own. We stayed in the water for about 30 minutes because she didnt want to leave. Haha. She loved the ocean now. Well, later that night we watched the Pa'a Tao Tao Tano performance at Mercy Heights with my mom and dad. We sat in the front row. I was a chair away from Robert Underwood, who was 2 chairs away from Carl Guiterrez. I just wanted to see if they would shake hands during intermission. I didnt see them shake hands though. They were occupied talking to other people. Anyways. There have been so many good days recently. I wonder when the bad day is coming along to balance things out. I know it's coming. But until it does I might as well enjoy all these good days. Till next time...I wanna leave u guys with this new trailer from M.Night Shaylaman. Im looking forward to seeing this one...

I will take this opportunity to publish my thoughts. I am able to see what I was processing in my head on a computer screen and get up, walk away from it, and point an index finger at it in the shape of a fake gun. A hand gun. Now, thats what I call a HAND, GUN. After typing in the word "gun" and realizing I repeated it 4 times in a row, I just realized my blog has just been hit with a reg flag by the Govt. Internet Police. The G.I.P. They're not really called that. Okay well, fear not G.I.P. I am not a threat to society. I do not have any intention of using a gun in the public arena. And there is not sarcatic'alities going on for real. 4real, 4real. Let's all laugh over a beer like what Obama, the cop and that black professor did. Okay but after a deep breath, back to the lecture at hand. By the way Im listening to "We're Gonna Make It" by Damian Jr.Gong Marley. And it is the early afternoon. Imagine that, global audience. Okay so yes, this publishing your thoughts thing thats going on globally. I cannot hate on it. Its something I see as beneficial in the long run. We are turning society in to becoming more literate individuals. We are better spellers! We never spell shit wrong on facebook, spell check is a genius! Now I'm a Genius! Yes. (that should be a commerical) At the thought of it, if you DO happen to spell something wrong on facebook, then haha. You are now being teased at that. Change in times right. What else? It's mind therapy. Get it out of your head, and its out of your head. Yes. It reminds me of a conversation I had with somebody we were coming up with website names and ideas over a club sandwich, and he said, "What about a website, that you can put down what you hate. Do they have that yet?" And this conversation was maybe in February. But yea I see it as mind therapy. So yes, Its got that therapeutic thing going on there. By the way I spelled therapeutic wrong but thanks to spell check underlining the word in red! Yup. Oh yeah and lastly twitter is making a lot of people incredibly narcissistic. (I had to right click to spell that word right. haha. genius.) But twitter is too much thought publishing. Its for self absorbed individuals. An example of a twitter post, "Right now I am eating a loaf of 9 Grain whole wheat bread." Haha. People are updating their lives way too frequently. Please (spell) check yourself. Stop doing it. Stand up, get some scissors and cut that out.Thanks. Its 2Much, thats all. K. Im out. Oh yeah, Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize. 2009. Yes We Can. History is unfolding in our lifetimes. Finally! haha. And I heard of that at about 6:30 pm Guam time last night. 18 hours ago? Guam people are up to date global audience. By the way, I see you Hu Jia, Chinese Activist, 2nd place to Obama in the Nobel Peace Price voting. Yea I researched it. Boom. Peace out. Dot. And by the way I went to a comedy show last night. Was drinking from 6-1 or 2. Haha. I dont remember shit from last night. I dont know how I got home. All I know is I was laughing the whole night. That comedy show was hilarious.Try to see a comedy show at a city near you ASAP. Or a town or a village near you. Yes. Go with people you see a lot. K. Peace World.

Brazil Wins Bid to Host 2016 Olympics

I watched live on CNN, Pres.Obama deliver his speech to urge the IOC to pick Chicago o host the 2016 Olympics. Tokyo, Spain,Chicago, and Brazil were in the running. At the end of the day Obama got rejected and the IOC voted for Brazil to host in 2016. Some news pundits mocked Obama's failed attempt to deliver the 2016 Olympics by saying "The Ego has landed." Messed up. But funny. I guess the critics were waiting to use that one. Haha. This is the first time a South American country gets to host the Olympics so congratulations to them. I want to go to Brazil in 2016 with some Guam people or anybody else to party in Brazil, be in the atmosphere and check out the games. Rio de Janiero looks insane. I gotta see it in real life and have a beer there.

Guam kid listening to KID CUDI: "Man on the Moon: the End of the Day"

I would like to recommend this album. It's a different kind of rap album. More melodic flows and hooks. Plus the album is divided into sections chronicling the artist's life until this point.
(I only started to like Kid Cudi after Jay-Z certified him on the Blueprint 3 track "Already Gone" in which Cudi sings the hook)

About Me

This blog is used to document my interests, and collect all the cool videos I see on the internet. I want to look back on this in 20 years and laugh.
